Moving Pods: Changing the Way You Move...For Good.
Less then a decade ago, there were relatively few options for moving. We could do it ourselves by renting a moving truck or hire a moving company. Times have changed, and we can thank the development of moving pods for that.
The moving industry has come a long way since our parents had
to move. Renting a moving truck, hiring an expensive moving company or begging our friends for help are no longer our only options when it comes time to move. (Ok, so maybe we'll always be begging our friends for help...) Thanks to the innovation of several moving and storage companies, we have a new way of moving: moving pods.
Pods
moving companies offer the convenience of easy loading (and unloading)
at your own pace. Most of these moving pods (depending on sizes
available) can be placed in your driveway or even on a sidewalk (check
your town regulations first!), making them great options if you live in
the city or don't have a tons of outside space. Best of all, they can be a lot cheaper compared to the alternatives. (Not always, so make sure to get quotes.) Not all moving pods
are equal though, so it's important to research your options and see
how these pods um, stack up, before reserving one. Keep in mind these
will be dropped off at your location, so unless you have a huge yard or
a really long driveway, consider some of the smaller size pods. In
an effort to help make this decision easier, below is a list of those
pods moving companies that service most, if not all, parts of the
country. Whether you're moving locally, long distance, or just need storage, consider contacting these companies. We've also included the sizes of their respective portable
storage containers and what they are made out of. Door To Door Storage & Moving Pods

is stored in the controlled environment of their storage centers.

There are many reasons moving pods should be considered for your next
move. Many of these pods moving companies will allow you to reserve
multiple containers but only charge you for what you use. Furthermore,
you can sometimes have up to a month to pack your pod, so you're not
rushed. Last but not least , pods aren't just for moving. Many of these companies provide short and long term self storage.
